As a family-owned and operated NDIS business, we incorporate genuine respect for all cultures and traditions into what we do, serving with sincere care, inclusion and understanding.
Our youth need our help now more than ever, to build self-confidence and support them in their growth, figuring out their own identity, and becoming the best version of themselves – self-reliant, healthy, and joyful individuals.
Maverick Capacity Builders presently focuses on male youth and young adults 13 – 21, specifically NDIS youth with needs of Capacity Building, Social Community, and Civic Participation in Group Activities settings as a start. Currently, the program is catered for participants without the need for wheelchairs or walking aids to partake in the activities.
Multiple proven studies have shown that children to adults alike, retain more information when they are happy, due to the release of endorphins, and this helps the subconscious hold the information, by classifying it as important! This is essential and it’s what our program is based on.
Helping teen boys & young adults
By running small groups of 4 male youths at a time (keeping it personal and creating safe space), participating in 4 hours of fun and easy environment at least once, but designed for twice a week for a 2-month journey of discovery that can be taken over and over, each time building on the last.
We empower participants to reconnect with their roots, build self-confidence and strengthen their ties to their friends, family and community. We also deeply honour the stories and wisdom of all cultures, providing a space where all people come together, learn from one another, and grow stronger together. By partnering with us, you start on a journey that respects the past, empowers the present, and builds a brighter, inclusive future for all.
